About Tsavo National Parks

Tour Plan

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

Pick up from Nairobi hotel or airport and start your 4 days safari in Kenya, driving towards Amboseli National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside with views of local villages and landscapes along the way. Arrive in time for lunch at the camp, check in, and have a short rest.

Amboseli is famous for its breathtaking scenery with a backdrop of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and offers incredible photography opportunities. In the afternoon, proceed for a game drive in the park where you may spot large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife.

Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Amboseli – Tsavo West

Early morning breakfast at the camp, then depart Amboseli with an en-route game drive as you head to Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy wildlife sightings along the way as you exit Amboseli and enter the scenic Tsavo West.

Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, followed by some relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in Tsavo West, known for its rolling hills, volcanic landscapes, and diverse wildlife including elephants, buffalo, lions, and rhinos.

You may also explore unique attractions such as Mzima Springs, where hippos and crocodiles can be seen in clear waters. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Tsavo East

Early morning game drive with a visit to the famous Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water supports a rich ecosystem of aquatic life and wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then depart for Tsavo East National Park.

Drive through the vast wilderness arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, relax briefly before heading out for an afternoon game drive in Tsavo East, known for its open plains and large herds of red-dust elephants.

You may also spot lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species as you explore the park. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Tsavo East – Mombasa / Nairobi

After breakfast, depart Tsavo East and drive towards Mombasa via the Mombasa-Nairobi highway, enjoying views of the changing landscapes from savannah to coastal region.

Arrive in Mombasa in time for lunch and be dropped off at your beach resort. Alternatively, you can proceed back to Nairobi depending on your travel plans. This marks the end of your safari.
